Due to shipping guidelines, you will need to fully charge before using melo for the 1st time. We suggest at least 4 hrs.
Don’t worry this is normal, on it’s first charge it will take 4/5 seconds to start the cycle and then the lights will expand and contract to show it is charging.

Melo is splash proof, but not waterproof. So it will be fine if it gets wet, but not if it is submerged in water or another liquid.
